Accelerated Expansion

Like most projects, this one requires resources. Tools, materials, time—all of those things equate to money, and during this transitional phase of life, money is not something that I have. Therefore, I am asking for your help! Fueled by your generous donations, we will explore the universe together, and I will work as hard as I can to return value many orders of magnitude beyond that which I receive.

UPDATES

August 30th, 2017

Good News, Everyone—Thanks to a generous donation, use of Wolfram Mathematica is now guaranteed for one year! That is one year of computational goodness, including all of the orbit plots and animations from my most recent blog post, as well as nearly every single calculation I do here behind the scenes. In short, Mathematica is a vital tool for making this website what it is, and thanks to you, my readers, it is a tool we have at our disposal.

Of course, the ongoing quest for funds knows no end, and the second most frequently used piece of software for this website is none other than Adobe Photoshop, which costs $10.66 per month. Yes, I am paying for Photoshop, because I strive to be an honest person, and I pursue legitimacy in everything I do. With your help, I can maintain the integrity of this project by giving the folks at Adobe their due, too.

So, if you have a few bucks to spare, please send them my way! It really helps me to (hopefully) help you.

Thanks!

Aaron

Thanks to your generous contributions, hosting services for this website are now billed as an annual business plan, which grants us

  • Unlimited Pages, Galleries, and Blogs, with Unlimited Storage, Bandwidth, and Contributors (as opposed to 20 pages and 2 contributors)

  • Professional email from Google (soon to be *@eiben.space!)

  • A 2% Transaction Fee (as opposed to 3%)

  • Plus, it's cheaper in the long-run!

I cannot thank you enough for your support of this project, and as I have said before, I am working as hard as I can to return value in the form of entertainment and knowledge many times beyond that which I am given. That being said, necessity dictates that I rattle the tip jar a bit more...

I recently had to renew my annual Mathematica license for $155, which seriously strained my limited finances. Wolfram Mathematica is the software that I use for all of my technical computing: from doing simple arithmetic to generating complex interactive simulations. In short, it's a computational Swiss army knife that I use in some form to create just about everything on this website, and it's pretty expensive. I could really use your help covering the cost! Even if you cannot kick back the full price, every dollar donated helps the website and earns you a prestigious place on the contributor list, as well as my eternal gratitude.

Thanks for your support!

This website just went live, and that costs money! Since I don't have a lot of money, I am depending on you, my fantastic audience, to help me out with the web-hosting fees. I am currently on a month-to-month plan, as that is all I could afford, but I would like to change that to an annual plan which is cheaper in the long run. If you want to see this project continue and you have a few bucks to spare, please, send them my way! I promise to use them only for this project, and I will be forever in your debt.

Thanks!

Aaron
